Small
shipments are sent via UPS delivery and are easily received.
Larger units require us to use common carrier transportation
(CCX, Overnite,
PJax, etc.). These shipments are "Tailgate Delivery" and
you are expected to have enough help and/or the proper equipment
to unload the merchandise upon delivery. If you require a
residential delivery, or special services, the carrier will
surcharge according
to their rate schedule.
We take extreme care in packaging your shipment and only use
responsible carriers so that your merchandise will arrive
in good condition.
When you receive your shipment, we strongly recommend that
you inspect it thoroughly prior to signing the commercial
Bill of Lading. If
any goods called for on the Bill of Lading are short or damaged,
do not accept them until a short/damaged notation has been
made on the original Bill of Lading and the local freight
manager has been
called to schedule an inspection. If, after signing for the
merchandise, concealed damage is discovered, notify the
freight carrier immediately
and request an inspection. All packaging should be kept until
after the inspection is completed. If you experience any
freight related
problems that you can not solve, please contact our shipping
manager at 800-326-9575 for further assistance.
