1 gal. mayonnaise
1-1/3 c. vinegar
1/2 c. apple juice
2 Tbs. + 1 tsp. salt
1 Tbs. onion powder
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
5 c. sugar
1 c. pineapple juice
1/2 c. prepared horseradish
1 Tbs. ground celery seed
1 Tbs. garlic powder |
Combine ingredients and let set, refrigerated, for several hours before serving. Use 2 1/2 c. dressing per 1 gallon grated cabbage. Serves 24. For interesting variations add combinations of: 1 c. grated carrot, 1 c. raisins, 2 c. pineapple tidbits, 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper (red, green, or both), and/or 2 Tbs. celery seed. |
