4 slices smoked turkey 4 slices Swiss cheese
8 slices dark rye bread
8 Tbs. sauerkraut, rinsed
6 Tbs. Thousand Island dressing
8 Tbs. butter

Spread dressing on bread slices.
Add turkey, cheese, and sauerkraut. Melt butter over medium heat. Place sandwich in the skillet and brown on both sides.
Garnish with sliced pickles and apples.
